It was immaculately clean with welcoming and amiable staff who seemed to double as the receptionist. The location of the hotel was comfortable - not very far from St John's Church.

Very good personnel and brilliant and perfect location right beside a lovely park. A wide array of food options a 10-15 minute walking distance from the venue. Cosy room with the shower, sunken bath, as example. With an electric kettle and fridges.

I enjoyed walking to both the Whitchurch Heritage Centre and Walker's Bakery and Tea Room, both just a short stroll away. The bed was comfortable and clean. I appreciated the free bottled water in the room, always a nice touch for weekend travelers like me.

The view from the room was something straight out of a postcard! We had this very nice little Thai restaurant downstairs with a robot waiter. It was kinda fun to interact with that little guy.

It wasn't exactly economical, but it was tolerable.
